Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2026
This page explains what happens to the information you type into the Blackberry Bar ordering site.
1. No backend, no server-side storage
This site is a static page with no server or database behind it. Nothing you type into the order form is stored on a server anywhere by this site — it exists only in your browser for the duration of your visit.
2. What's collected, and where it goes
- Name, surname, email, WhatsApp number: included in the order message sent to Blackberry Bar's WhatsApp number when you place an order. This goes directly to WhatsApp, not to us.
- Delivery address, city, state: collected only if you choose Home Delivery, and included in the same WhatsApp order message.
- Year of birth: used once, in your browser, to confirm you meet the legal drinking age. It's stored in your browser's local storage (not sent anywhere) so you're not asked again on the same device.
- Location (optional): if you tap "Use my current location," your device's GPS coordinates are sent directly to OpenStreetMap's free Nominatim service to look up a readable address. This only happens if you tap that button — nothing is sent otherwise. See OpenStreetMap Foundation's privacy policy for how they handle that request.
- Your invoice PDF: generated entirely in your browser and downloaded to your device. It is never uploaded anywhere.
3. Cookies
This site does not use cookies or any advertising or analytics trackers. The only thing saved on your device is the age-verification flag mentioned above, using your browser's local storage.
4. Third-party services used
- WhatsApp — receives your order message. Governed by WhatsApp's own privacy policy.
- OpenStreetMap Nominatim — used only if you use the location button, to convert coordinates to an address.
- Google Fonts and cdnjs — used to load the site's typefaces and the PDF-generation library. These are standard font/script delivery services and do not receive any order information.
5. Your choices
You can fill in the order form without using the location button — typing your address by hand works exactly the same way. You can also clear your browser's local storage at any time to reset the age-verification flag.
6. Changes
This policy may be updated from time to time as the site changes. Check back here for the latest version.
7. Contact
For privacy questions, contact Blackberry Bar directly on WhatsApp using the number provided on the ordering page.
